Who will I be working with?
Team Administrator
Do you like to make a difference to others or your community? Do you want to make a positive impact everyday as part of your job? Then this exciting apprenticeship opportunity could be for you!
You would be supporting our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) teams across 2 rotations, and upon successful completion of the programme, you will earn the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard.

That’s why helping and supporting the communities we live and work in is a key commitment for our business. Our CSR team look at the skills, talent and resources within our organisation, and works with our neighbours to help them address the challenges they face. Whatever it is, all of our work is aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the best plan we have to create a just and equitable future for everyone.
You would support the CSR team in organising volunteering events, preparing marketing and communication material, assisting with our work experience programmes, helping with research and project management, general administration duties, and much more!
On the D&I side, we are committed to making our organisation more diverse and representative of clients and businesses that we serve. We have launched our strategy and targeted action plans to enable us to continue to foster and inclusive culture and working environment, including initiatives around both recruitment and retention. You will be able to get involved in data analysis, research, assisting our employee networks with their initiatives, connecting with stakeholders internally and externally, and supporting the D&I team to deliver their strategy and roll out a number of UK wide events and initiatives.
This role is an excellent stepping stone to start your career, where you will learn and develop a range of strong professional skills, whilst making a positive impact every day to the workplace, those around you and the community you work in.
What will I be doing?
- Team admin: organising meetings and agendas, taking minutes and following up on action points, calendar management, other ad-hoc admin tasks
- Volunteering support: booking staff volunteering events, updating SharePoint/team calendar, following up post event, updating reporting spreadsheets
- Event and project management: Support for the team’s internal and external events, including managing and distributing email invites, updating event listings and distributing essential information prior to activities.
- Supporting campaigns/projects: drafting/preparing materials such as emails and posters, preparing communications for both the UK CSR community and the wider UK employee base.
- Programme development: research around key social and educational issues and identifying opportunities for UK CSR to contribute, e.g. refugees, criminal convictions, modern slavery
- Work experience programmes: assisting with planning and administration in the run up to and during our social mobility programme, Step-UP UK.
- Analysing data and reporting to support different projects and initiatives
D&I
- Contribute to the 2024 UK D&I strategy project (by helping Co-ordinate with the various businesses
to progress on their D&I initiatives)
- Support the roll out of UK D&I wide initiatives
- Help to analyse D&I and HR data to identify and report key trends
- Assist with admin around scheduling, processes, etc
An apprentice in our department will learn essential skills to create a solid foundation for their career, whilst being supported by a fantastic team.
What skills and qualifications are required for the role?
- GCSE Maths & English level 4 – 9 (grade A – C)
- A-levels, which are due to be completed in 2024 OR completed A-Levels in 2023
- Excel & Power Point skills
- Excellent organisations skills
- Good communication and relationship building skills
- Interest or experience in CSR, Community Engagement, or Diversity & Inclusion
