Who will I be working with? 

You will be working in either our Information Technology or our RISK Function as a Level 3 Software Development Technician Officer Apprentice.  

What will I be doing?

This role works as part of a software development team, to build simple software components  – whether web, mobile or desktop applications – to be used by other members of the team as part of larger software development projects.  

  • Design and develop utilities to add key data into our application system 
  • Analyse and manipulate data using programming 
  • Assist with the production and visualisation of Business Intelligence data 
  • Follow best practice for design, development, testing, integration, and the deploying of enhancements.  

What skills and qualifications are required for the role? 

  • GCSE Maths & English level 4 – 9 (grade A – C) 
  • A-Levels, which are due to be completed in 2024 OR completed A-Levels in 2023 
  • Excel & Power Point skills  
  • Excellent organisation skills 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Experience of programming concepts
