Student Placement Opportunities Summer 2024 – Fund Administration

Placement Opportunities

 

BNP Paribas are pleased to offer a number of Fund Administration placements within the Securities Services division, working in the Glasgow offices. These placements will be for a period of 12 weeks from Monday 3th June until Friday 23th August. The paid placements will provide the opportunity to experience the work environment of a leading financial services organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities of role

 

As an intern, you will be given responsibility from day one adding real value to live projects and will be encouraged to expand your professional network across the bank.

 

For an agreed population of open ended funds, produce deliverables including, but not limited to:

  • Meeting client KPIs and service delivery commitments through:
  • Timely completion of internal team management information.

 

  • Assist in managing responses to clients, auditors, trustees, custodians and other departments within BNP Paribas Securities Services for those funds assigned responsibility for.
  • Adhere to procedures and controls in performing allocated tasks.
  • Assist in documenting procedures and controls for new and existing processes.
  • Timely escalation of any issues to Senior Fund Accountant and Assistant Manager.
  • Ensure corrective and preventative action is taken, and evidence retained, where deadlines / quality standards are at risk.

 

 

Preferred Experience

 

It is preferred that applicants are undergraduates in their 3rd or 4th year of an Accounting or Finance degree.
