THE ROLE
The Primary Graduate Programme is a 12 month rotational programme where you will conduct 3 x 4 month rotations.  In addition to experiencing a range of Primary desks (Dept Capital Markets, Syndicate, Liability Management and Securitised Products Group (SPG) desks across different client bases, you will also have the opportunity to conduct one rotation in a different specialism including; sales, structuring, trading, research or generalist. This will give you an immense opportunity to learn more about a variety of products, clients and markets over the course of the programme.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES could include
- Supporting DCM Marketers in developing client presentations, letters, proposals

- Conduct data analysis on new issues and credit analysis on target clients

- Preparing frequent written market updates/ newsletters

- Assist in the execution of DCM mandates, coordinating internal and external resources

- Support SPG Origination and Structuring teams in sourcing, executing and placing client’s Securitisation transactions

- Assist the SPG Portfolio Management team in the credit risk and resources (funding, capital) management of the Bank’s Securitisation exposures.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
- Excellent academic background, minimum 2:1 or equivalent in Bachelor’s degree

-Keen interest and basic understanding in Capital Markets

-Strong organisational and time management skills

-Strong preference for candidates with intermediate to advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills

-Demonstrated interest in current affairs and global finance topics

-Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of professionalism

   -Previous internship or work experience

-Motivated and driven to develop a career in Global Markets

   -Pro-activeness
