Context and challenges :

Leveraged Debt Platform EMEA (LDP) is a leading arranger in the European leveraged buy-out market. The business provides highly leveraged financing to companies under private equity ownership. The deals we finance include leveraged buy-outs and further strategic events including add-on acquisitions and recapitalizations. Our clients are leading private equity funds, including CVC, Advent, Bridgepoint, 3i, Charterhouse and many others. The Brussels team covers companies based in the Benelux, Nordics, CEE and Turkey (BNCET).

LDP is part of Financing Solutions belonging to Global Banking EMEA, a part of Corporate & Institutional Banking.

Main activities :

You will join the LDP team based in Brussels as an Analyst and report to the head of LDP BNCET. 

As an analyst you will be involved in preparing marketing and transaction pitches and deal execution. You will run financial models, complete financial and credit analysis, sector research, write credit papers and learn to structure LBO transactions. This requires strong quantitative and reasoning skills.

You will be expected to participate in different (cross-border) deal teams and work on several transactions in parallel, which requires good organisation skills and a commitment to working long hours when necessary.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active person with strong analytical and communication skills. Strong oral and written skills in English are a must, good oral and written skills in Dutch or French are also required. Previous experience in a corporate banking, corporate finance or project finance environment, ideally exposed to corporate credit or corporate finance, is considered an advantage.
