WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

You will be hired into the FX & Local Markets Structuring team in London as a FX Structuring Assistant.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Build ad hoc on desk tools for analysis and idea generation

·         Support the marketing effort by preparing client pitches and analysis

·         Work closely with Sales & Trading to price bespoke derivate transactions for a wide range of clients

·         Assist in producing documentation for structured transactions

·         Develop new solutions and products matching client needs and constraints

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

·         A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline or finance

·         Strong academic record

·         Strong programming skills (especially Python)

·         Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/VBA)

·         Interest in the financial industry and familiarity with financial products

·         Accuracy and attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently and diligently

·         Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

·         Motivation and initiative

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for interacting with other BNP departments

·         Proven analytical and problem solving skills
