Work environment:

Capital Markets is the entity of BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking gathering the activities of Debt financing (Structured Loans and Bonds), Equity financing (Equity Capital Markets), Real Assets financing (Energy, Resources & Infrastructure, Export, Aviation, Shipping and Real Estate), Syndicate and Securitization (ABS, CLO, CMBS etc..).

The department leverages on its pan European leadership positions in debt origination and structuring to be a best-in-class debt provider to Corporate and Sponsor clients.

Within Capital Markets, the COO Office looks after non purely business-related issues: Strategic development, transformation, digital, financial management reporting, internal communication.

Human Resources development, Credit, Compliance and Conduct & regulatory topics etc.

Main activities:

In close collaboration with the COO and all members of the team (4 people), you will have the opportunity to work on various missions including, but not limited to:

Strategy (business, digital) and transformation

- Implement new tools, explore development ideas

- Manage/ Participate to several digital and industrialization initiatives

- Redesign processes to increase efficiency in a project mode

Marketing, communication

- Prepare documents for the Head of Capital Markets communication

- Communicate on BNPP performance internally and externally

- Organize events and trainings

Financial analysis related to performance management

- Participate to Financial performance analysis & portfolio review

- Monitoring of key KPIs

Key learnings:

High exposure to and close collaboration with Capital Markets’ management.

Unique transversal perspective on CM industry both on current momentum and upcoming changes (regulation, digital technology, new entrants...)

Direct contribution to support the successful management and transformation of Capital

Markets activities

Profile:

Student (Business School, university...) preparing a Master degree

Fluent in French and English

Ability to understand Investment Banking activities

Strong strategic /organisational/ project management skills

Ability to work in teams and with various stakeholders

Good command of MS Office

Good communication skills

Previous experience in investment banking would be a plus
