Paris - Long Term Internship - Global Banking - Global Trade Solutions - Middle Office

6 month internship starting in July 2019.

BNP Paribas is among the top 5 players worldwide in Trade Finance. GTS (Global Trade Solutions) is a global business line comprising more than 90 Trade Centres spread out in all regions and a Competence Centre regrouping experts.

GTS’ role is to assist BNP Paribas Group Corporate clients in all their import and export needs. The range of GTS products and solutions extends from plain vanilla products such as international guarantees, standby letters of credit and documentary credit to Supply Chain Management solutions and also covers pre-export and import trade financing and e-banking solutions.

Within CIB GTS, the Paris Delivery Platform is currently mainly assisting the Supply Chain Management business line with their specific programs of receivable purchase and payable financing.

Responsibilities:

• Handle deals after closing of the facilities. Checking the coherence between the terms and the credit agreements. Identifying and entering the involved counterparties. Issuing administrative documents for proper booking and transmission to the back offices.

• Process drawdowns. Checking the preliminary conditions planned in the Facility. Checking documents related to drawndowns such as invoices, transport documents, insurance. Setting payment calculations/instructions for transmission to the back office.

• Monitor lines and repayments and report to the Front Office, Back Office, GTS teams worldwide and customers.

• Participate in the development of monitoring tools.

Profile:

•Business School, Engineering School or University / with a specialisation in Finance.
•MS Excel/Access and SQL/Business Object ( past professional use)
•Strong Financial Interest
•Languages: fluency in French and English
