Corporate Coverage is the area within the bank that manages all of the interactions between the bank and its Corporate Clients.

Our Summer Internship Programme provides the ideal opportunity to experience the full scope and diversity of interaction that occurs between large corporate clients and a major Corporate & Institutional Bank; from Cash Management and Trade Finance, through to Debt Capital Markets and M&A.

The initial training you will receive will enhance your technical and professional skills and help you to hit the ground running.

What you will do


Our Coverage department acts as the primary conduit for the bank’s interactions with its Corporate Client Base; responsible for the marketing effort, management of risk and compliance aspects of these global relationships.

 

Your role will include:

  • Preparation and presentation of an industry analysis
  • Preparation and presentation of a credit analysis of a prospect client
  • Actively participating in the annual Client Action Planning process
  • Exposure to a wide range of clients and projects
  • Exposure to the full range of our business area and product offering

 

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrable interest in the financial markets or economic affairs
  • Excellent presentation, communication and written skills
  • An inquisitive mind
  • Good at building relationships
  • Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail
  • Strong academic record
  • Fluency in English
