DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

CIB Human Resources Department (CIB HR) supports CIB staff and managers in London, providing them with a full range of strategic advisory & transactional services (in terms of payroll, pension & benefits, recruitment, career management, learning & development and employee relations). In regular contact with the Group HR Department of BNP Paribas, CIB HR is the entry point for all CIB employees on any human resources issue. The team in London comprises of circa 60 human resources professionals.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

To provide administrative and logistical support to the UK Head of D&I, Diversity & Inclusion Council and Employee Networks in a fast paced environment

 

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

•     Event management and support for Employee Networks

•     Diversity Week event support (speakers, hospitality)

•     Diary management

•     Arranging meetings with external stakeholders (e.g Stonewall)

•     Creating online event invitations

•     Coordinating with L&D team to run education programs

•     Setting up audio and video conferences

•     Coordinating internal conferences

•     Representing the Bank at external events

•     Manage shared mailboxes

•     Develop internal website pages (training provided)

•     Excellent communication skills

•     Excellent interpersonal skills

•     Well organized

•     Diplomatic and sensitive to business issues

•     Able to navigate large organisation

•     Able to deal with Staff at all levels of the organisation

•     Must be able to multi-task

•     Work under pressure to tight deadlines

•     Must be flexible in terms of hours (some evening work may be required)

•     Ambitious and wanting to develop a career in HR/D&I related activity

•     Operate autonomously

•     Creative

•     Willing to make suggestions to make improvements
