Paris - Long term Internship - Corporate Banking - Specialized Trade Solutions - Junior Business Analyst - E&C

Work environment:

The intern will integrate the Specialized Trade Solutions (STS) department (former Energy & Commodity Finance) of BNP Paribas CIB in Paris.

Responsibilities:

Within the STS department and in connection with the Origination & Structuring (O&S), Product platform (PP) and Commodities Coverage teams, the intern will be in charge of preparing memos based on facilities analysis and assessment (structure, securities, recovery rates, risks, profitability, etc) for our portfolio of clients which are active in the trading, refining and distribution of commodities. Furthermore, the intern may have to assist the O&S team with marketing presentation preparation (pitch, market analysis, etc) for business opportunities and also to perform specific transversal client / industry / financial reviews.

The intern will work indistinctly on the 3 STS sectors: Energy, Metal & Mining and Agribusiness and on the whole set of STS products: Borrowing Base facilities, Transactional financing, Inventory financing, payment and performance risk guarantees.

The intern will work under the supervision of the Head of Business Analysts.

Profile:

Skills:

An excellent knowledge of English and French is essential

Strong analytical skills

Rigour, precision and curiosity

Office tools management is mandatory

Financing metier and commodities knowledge would be a plus
