GECD is the business line within the Corporate & Investment Banking division which combines the activities of Structured Equity, Flow & Financing and Commodity Derivatives.

Structured Equity and Flow & Financing offer a full range of innovative equity, index and fund-linked products. In addition, they offer a comprehensive range of research, sales, trading and execution services on equities and their derivatives. Commodity Derivatives offers a full range of price risk management solutions. Underlying’s include energy, metals and soft commodities.

What you’ll do

The Sales teams at BNP Paribas GECD are pivotal on the trading floor. They play the vital role of establishing and   maintaining strong relationships with our clients in order to win business for the bank.


Once a relationship has been formed, the Sales team will advise clients, based on information collated from our Research and Structuring teams. Our Sales experts then liaise with Traders to execute deals on behalf of our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Equities and Commodities Derivatives sales team
  • Preparing marketing presentations
  • Basic term sheets
  • Dealing with secondary market issues and various client communication requests
  • Assisting with handling client requests


What we’re looking for

  • Must be fluent in both English and Polish
  • Strong Financial mathematics
  • Ideally a Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business background
  • Strong numerical and basic modelling skills, knowledge of pricing derivatives, portfolio management etc
  • Previous related work experience
  • Good MS skills and ideally knowledge of Reuters and Bloomberg
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team working skills and highly motivated
