THE ROLE 

Structured Capital Markets is part of BNP Paribas’ Primary & Credit Markets (“PCM”). PCM provides funding and capital solutions to Corporates, Sovereigns, Supranationals and Agencies (SSAs) and Financial Institutions via the global bond and loan markets, and an added value service on Credit Markets to our institutional clients. Our global offer for Credit includes vanilla flow products, emerging market expertise and structured derivatives solutions.

Within PCM, Structured Capital Markets creates added value for BNPP Group and its clients (Large Corporates and Financial Institutions) by taking into account in their financial transactions their respective accounting, tax or regulatory considerations.

You will be hired into Structured Capital Markets as Junior Structurer

As a Junior Structurer, you will contribute to the development and origination of transactions (cross-border financing transactions essentially) for the clients of the bank (Corporate clients and Financial Institutions) together with the other team members in the various locations (Americas, Asia, Europe).

You will also participate in the implementation (marketing, internal approval, modelling, booking) of cross-border financing transactions which have been originated.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Financial Engineering, Finance, Maths, Sciences, Economics, Econometrics or related disciplines
  • Previous related internship or work experience in financial services and/or investment banking
  • Good knowledge of the Banking / Financing / Credit basics
  • Good Financial modelling skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel in particular)
  • Experience in using information systems (Bloomberg, Reuters)
