Department Overview

CIB Human Resources Department (CIB HR) supports CIB staff and managers in London, providing them with a full range of strategic advisory & transactional services (in terms of payroll, pension & benefits, recruitment, career management, learning & development and employee relations). In regular contact with the Group HR Department of BNP Paribas, CIB HR is the entry point for all CIB employees on any human resources issue. The team in London comprises of circa 60 human resources professionals.

 

The European Campus Recruitment team looks after all campus attraction and recruitment including graduates, summer internships, long-term internships, VIEs and spring insight participants. This role will focus on the operational delivery of an excellent campus recruitment service, supporting administration / coordination for the recruiter(s) as well as the potential to own some independent recruitment / projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a high volume of campus hires including graduates, interns, long-term interns, VIEs and spring insight participants across designated business lines
  • Coordinate parts of the recruitment process; candidate management, interview scheduling, facilitating assessment centres and coordinating on boarding documents
  • Maintain and review the Applicant Tracking System (currently WCN), including but not limited to; managing candidates through the process, flagging system errors, liaising with our test providers and logging interviews and feedback
  • Support the processing of new joiner / leaver documentation
  • Support the visa processes of these individuals through collaboration with the UK International Mobility Team
  • Support campus marketing and attraction initiatives and attend campus events, especially in peak season (Sep – Jan) Supporting diversity recruitment initiatives.
  • Support the summer, spring and graduate induction programmes as needed.
  • Driving ad-hoc projects to improve our campus recruiting as designated by the EMEA Head of Campus Recruitment & Development.

 

Requirements for the role

  • An ability to articulate a keen interest in recruitment and ideally working in a campus recruitment team
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven and rapidly changing environment
  • Experience of ATS systems. (desirable)
  • An understanding of recruitment and the practicalities of doing this in volume.
  • Attention to detail.
  • An ability to multitask with many simultaneous activities at once.
  • A second language is desirable, though not essential.
