THE ROLE

The Trading Graduate Programme is a 12 month rotational programme where you will conduct 3 x 4 month rotations. In addition to experiencing a range of trading desks across different asset classes, you could also have the opportunity to conduct one rotation in a different specialism including; sales, structuring, strategy & research, trading risk support, electronic markets.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitoring and responding to ‘alerts’ whether communication or trading related, opening case management files as required and escalating as required

- Helping refine and improve the effective monitoring of communications and trades

- Supporting the FOCS team through updating and collating documentation and helping produce and generate weekly and monthly MI and presentation packs as required

- Ensuring compliance with appropriate rules, regulations and company policies and procedures

- Drafting and updating policies and procedures and contributing to FOCS team meetings as required

- Supporting other departments such as Compliance, HR, etc., with their investigations and analysis

- Excellent spoken and written English

- Additional languages are an advantage

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

- Excellent academic background

- Proficient with Ms Office tools

- Strong mathematical, analytical & quantitative skills

- Strong organisational and time management skills

CONDUCT

- Be a role model, supporting and fostering a culture of good conduct

- Keen interest and basic understanding of recent conduct related cases; e.g. FX and Libor findings

- Demonstrate proactivity, transparency, and accountability for identifying and managing conduct risks

- Consider the implications of your actions on colleagues
