Paris - Long Term Internship - Corporate Banking - Specialized Trade Solutions - Junior Transaction Manager

6-month internship starting February /March 2018.

Work environment:

Based in Paris, the Junior Transaction Manager will join the Structured Trade Finance (STF) front office teams (two managers and a team head in Paris and one manager in Geneva) of Specialized Trade Solutions (around 25 Transaction Officers and relationship managers), and will be integrated to a desk dedicated to the development of a portfolio of clients mainly through various risk cover and working capital solutions (issuances of silent guarantees, discounting of receivables, import financings, LCs confirmation, …).

Responsibilities:

Together with the Senior Trade Manager, the intern will be requested to:

- Analyze the transactions proposed by the clients;

- Ensure the follow up of accepted transactions;

- Prepare memos related to our facilities (structure, securities, recovery rates, risks, profitability, …) and presentation (internal and external) related to our business development plan.

- Generally assist the STF team;

This mission entails a constant interaction with :

-Clients;
-Coverage officers;
-Associated departments such as Back Office, Compliance team, Legal Department, Insurance Group (supporting documents and operations).

Profile:

- Business School or University;
- It will be appreciated if candidates are already familiar with the main concepts and instruments of our activity commodity financing, international trade (Letter of credit, guarantees, …)
- Fluency in French and English
- Unflinching sense of motivation and dynamism;
- Reactivity, alertness, adaptability and autonomy;
- Deep sense of communication and rigor
- Good computer skills.
