DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

Part of the Primary and Credit Markets global business line, Asset Finance and Securitisation (AFS) is an international activity working as a business unit. The activity is focused on the arrangement, distribution and management of securitisation programmes on behalf of clients’: corporates and financial institutions.

 

Securitisation is a structured finance technique aiming at financing clients at better conditions by transferring assets to a SPV (special purpose vehicle) and use them as collateral to get refinanced by financial markets.

 

Within AFS, Portfolio Servicing team is an expertise centres on all securitisation products and assist structuring teams in the setup of new transactions by providing regulatory, accounting and booking analysis. The team is responsible for the on-going management of the portfolio and warehousing facilities (CLO, RMBS and auto loans). AFS PS is also responsible for various transversal projects such as IT systems sponsoring, monitoring of regulatory development, etc.

 

The successful candidate will assist senior members of the team in the transactions management and will work on automating reports and processes.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transactions monitoring and reporting
  • Processes and reports automation
  • Supporting structuring teams on transversal topics

 

TRANSACTIONS MANAGEMENT

 

  • Initial setup and closing
  • Monitoring of facilities usage and reporting
  • Contribution to credit review
  • Booking clients financing
  • Funding monitoring

 

REPORTING

  • Set data requirements
  • Liaise with IT to ensure contribution in internal systems
  • Analyse portfolio data
  • Produce weekly and quarterly reports
  • Develop and run daily transaction dashboard

 

COORDINATION

 

  • Work closely with Middle Office for facilities booking
  • Liaise with Finance regarding accounting classification and consolidation
  • Support structuring team on transversal topics

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Strong interest for Capital Markets and Securitisation products
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • VBA skills
  • Self-motivated, ability to work in an autonomous manner
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Experience in Banking is a plus
  • Knowledge of Basel 3 and securitisation concepts useful, but not essential
  • Language skills: English (fluency required)
  • Minimum 6 months availability (1 year preferably)
