Paris - Long Term Internship - Corporate Banking - Export Finance Analyst – Business Development and Credit officer

Date : 6 month internship starting in June 2015

Work environment :

The team Export Finance Business Development and Portfolio Management (BDPM) in Paris, fully integrated in the Front-office, comprises 3 officers in Paris. They are in charge of managing the risk and analysing performance of the EF portfolio, as well as supporting and coordinating the strategic orientations and development of the metier.

Responsibilities :

The intern will be in charge of supporting the activities of the BDPM team in charge of

- The Business Development

(1) supporting the Manager in the reporting exercise, both internally and externally

(2) Coordinating the transversal projects (internet site administration, business tools implementation)

(3) Strategic studies 

- The Portfolio Management :

(4) Supervision and Monitoring of the annual review process

(5) Involvement in EF country envelop renewal

(6) Monitoring of KYC (know your customer) process,

Export Finance works closely with large private corporates and public/sovereigns borrowing entities and is in relation with the dedicated worldwide Export network of the bank. Placed within the transversal function of the Metier, under the guidance and supervision of the head of the team, the intern will acquire a transversal view of the metier Export Finance through various aspects, both technical (such as credit fundamentals, Export finance specificities, basic Export Finance techniques), or organizational (through the coordination of global topics).

His/her task will include assisting the team in the coordination of the credit process, developing the intranet site, contributing to the external communication,….

Profile :

- Major European/ French Business ; Last year preferred

- English and French shall be fluent

- Other internships in Finance or Export Finance, and internship abroad represent a plus

- Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, …)
