London - Long term Internship - Credit Repo Sales

The Credit Repo Trading desk lies within the Prime Solution and Financing division of BNP Paribas Global Markets and is responsible for raising and deploying funding in a secured way. It offers long term secured investment opportunities, provide financing on both liquid and less liquid/structured credit assets and is involved in all funding questions raising in capital markets activities. The team is global with activities in London, Hong-Kong and New-York. 

It applies cutting-edge methods to optimize balance-sheet, liquidity ratios and risk management practices under strong capital and regulatory constraints.    

Working with the Repo Sales team and in tandem with Repo Traders, the intern will: 

• Book transactions and develop automation spreadsheet tools
• Work on improving the settlement processes directly liaising with Operations and Back Offices and solve issues diligently
• Help on the transactions internal approval processes for any non-standard/structured trades
• Help on the on-boarding process and set up of new clients to the platform

• Technical knowledge /understanding of Credit/Rates/Equity Liquidity products (Repo, Slabs, TRS etc.)
