DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

The PS&F Derivatives Execution and Clearing (DEC) Team is responsible expanding BNP Paribas Listed Derivatives offering worldwide. This area is considered as a significant way to generate revenues by leveraging on the existing Fixed Income, Equity Derivatives and Commodities derivatives franchises over the BNP PARIBAS Regional Hubs in the US, Europe and Asia. The successful candidate will liaise with Derivatives Agency Sales Traders, E-Trading Sales, ETD Marketers, Product specialists and group marketing amongst others.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Derivative Sales Traders in their daily client coverage roles
• Help prepare regional sales pitches for Execution and Clearing, for Listed and OTC
• Work closely with European Clearing Sales Teams
• Liaise with DEC business management to ensure accuracy in reporting flows
• Close cooperation with near shore middle office to enhance the post trade process.
• Work with DEA/DMA teams to ensure procedures are documented, and up to date.
• Assist with client roadshows preparation including client intelligence.

DESK SUPPORT 

• Day to day post trade booking queries which involves liaison between FO/MO/BO
• Ensure that CRM Lite is accurate, and assist with uploads for regional workshops.
• Interface between the various Sales desks across DEC
• Close cooperation between Execution and Clearing Sales forces.
• Work as a link between external Clients and internal client services teams across CIB and BP2S clearing.

ADMINISTRATIVE 

• Preparation of Internal Reports
• Data Analysis
• Respond to Information requests from managers and clients etc
• Overview of all pre and post trade systems

STRATEGIC

Special projects, e.g. integration of specific client base within the Bank

• Stay abreast of Product and Regulatory Developments, and Market Trends such as cleared OTC products, CVA calculation, industry standards, legal standards, and regulatory changes.

 CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Strong interest for Capital Markets
• Proficient on Excel and other Ms Office tools
• Team spirit
• Adaptable
• Multi-task capacity
• Internship in Banking is a plus
• Language skills: English (fluency required), Foreign language (strongly recommended, French German or Italian are a plus)
• Minimum 6 months availability (1 year preferably)
