Corporate Coverage includes the following areas;


  • Strategic Clients - FTSE100 corporates
  • Corporate, which is comprised of;

(a) Corporate Clients – mid to large corporate clients headquartered in the UK


(b) Multinational Corporate (MNC) Clients – large subsidiaries of overseas headquartered clients of the Bank


  • Commercial Banking Clients – smaller subsidiaries of overseas headquartered clients of the Bank
  • Business Development
  • Credit Analyst team

 


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as an intern in Corporate Business Development, your role will include:


  • Assisting in the preparation / co-ordination and on-going updating of marketing materials across all of the Bank’s Business Lines and geographic regions
  • Assisting in preparation of internal / external presentations including helping to collect, verify and correct the inputs of other contributing parties if any
  • Collecting market data and maintaining an up-to-date database
  • Understand client relationship management tools and solutions and support senior colleagues on queries regarding the data quality
  • Support the tracking of progress against various initiatives
  • Support the organization & implementation of ad hoc marketing forums and projects contributing across data analysis, organization & implementation
  • Interact with Senior Management across Business Lines and geographies

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

 

  • Excellent educational background to at least undergraduate level,      quantitative disciplines are preferred
  • Previous internship experience in corporate banking would be a plus
  • High level of technical skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
