Mission

  • Supports the Head of FIC for   Central & Eastern Europe in all   relevant areas :
    • Marketing, Business opportunities   (identification, assessment and delivery)
    • Credit process, Due Diligence and   Compliance
    • Coordinates internally with all   relevant Departments in order to ensure an optimal level of client servicing

Direct Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Head of Financial   Institutions Coverage for Central & Eastern Europe
  • Supports the FIC Banker in client   pitches/client marketing: information gathering and analysis of client’s   requirements, Market intelligence, visitS preparation, pitches, offers, Client   Action Plans etc.
  • In coordination with Compliance and   Due Diligence teams, assist the FIC Banker in the application of local and   group compliance procedures (KYCs): ensure in-time recertification of the   current portfolio & onboarding of new clients/prospects –collection of KYC   documentation
  • Identifying, in conjunction with the FIC Banker,   issues that clients may face from implementation of regulatory   directives/company financial dynamics and capital market trends (i.e. MIFID   II, LEI,..)
  • Be part of “Deal Teams” providing   sector, regulatory, rating and client specific input.   Contribute as such to the process aiming   at building, jointly with the Business Lines, the best solution to cover the   client’s problematic
  • Monitoring of deal status and update of Client Relationship Management   tools (Client 1st, CRM Lite, Client Cockpit) to ensure client data   is correctly reflected (revenues, exposure, products, credit lines, client   contacts)
  • Supports the FIC Banker in the   daily interaction with clients and answers clients’ queries.
  • Analyses and achieve credit   applications for FIC CEE portfolio (i.e. TAC, NAC, ad-hoc)
  • Prepares annual reviews:   counterpart risk analysis of the different entities in its portfolio:   activity, comparative market positioning, strategy of development, and financial   statements (using the main ratios of performance and the financial structure)
  • Contributes for Business Plans   preparation if any
  • May also assist other FIC Bankers   if necessary in their daily duties
  • Ensures proper filing on the   S-drive; and sharing with internal stakeholders

Competencies, Experience and Skills

  • Fully fluent in English and   excellent French written skills
  • Good background in financial   analysis area (Financial statements…) and good level of regulatory awareness   (Basel IV, IFRS9, AML/CFT, KYC…)
  • Previous 6 months intern in a Bank   within CIB Pole would be a plus
  • General knowledge of CIB products   and Credit
  • Strong computer skills: Excel,   Power Point, Word
  • Good relationship skills
  • Have a strong sense of autonomy and   initiative and able to work with several persons simultaneously

Duration:  

  • 12 months (possibility of renewal)
