ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The infrastructure team is part of BNP Paribas’ Energy and Infrastructure Group. We specialise in advising on, and arranging non-recourse lending in connection with, major acquisitions in the infrastructure sector in Europe, covering transportation (road, port, airport, rail), environmental (water, waste), and energy networks. We are one of the leading banks in this market.

Your role as an intern will include:

• Financial analysis, including creating and  manipulating complex financial models
• Analysing the risks affecting major  nfrastructure projects
• Reviewing due diligence
• Undertaking industry research
• Preparing pitch books and other marketing   materials
• Assisting in the preparation of credit proposals
• Monitoring existing loans

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

• Previous experience and knowledge of financial  modelling is essential
• Strong academic record, ideally in Finance,   Economics, Accountancy, Financial Analysis, Valuation, Corporate Strategy      or a subject that has a strong numerical focus E.g. Engineering, Physics,  Mathematics, etc
• Previous experience of the infrastructure or  finance sectors is an advantage, but not essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English; other  European languages an advantage
• Genuine interest in the energy &  infrastructure sector
• Analytical thinking and strong attention to  detail
• Good communication skills
• Already graduated or expected to graduate in 2017
