Department Overview

BNP Paribas CIB’s Corporate Debt Platform (“CDP”) offers a broad range of financing products and services in the global debt capital and loan markets.

CDP is responsible for originating, structuring and executing of a variety of debt financing transactions, including syndicated loans, corporate acquisition finance and debt capital markets issues (bonds, private placements) for a broad range of European clients across the entire ratings spectrum.

Overall Job Purpose

Opportunity to join the Corporate Debt Platform Execution Group. The focus of the role in the Execution Group will be on pitching, structuring and executing Acquisition Financings for Corporate clients (Investment & Non-Investment Grade) and refinancing proposals including loan and bonds spanning the credit spectrum.

Key Responsibilities

-       Preparing marketing pitch books for corporate clients in coordination with various other teams within CIB.

-       Constructing and analyzing financial models, including assessment of external credit ratings, prepare credit committee papers and manage the internal credit process;

Qualifications

-       Strong academic record

-       At least one experience (e.g internship) in finance

-       Fluent in English, good command of the German language

-       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-       Strong Excel / financial modelling skills

-       Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
