At the crossroads of lending and capital markets, BNP PARIBAS CIB designs financing solutions for clients on a worldwide level and manages the full spectrum from origination, structuring and underwriting to distribution on the loan syndications markets. The team regroups dozen individuals structuring acquisition debt financing for Private Equity funds clients in a context of a Leveraged Buy-out across Europe.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Working as an intern, your role will include:

 

  • Being responsible for transaction support
  • Financial analysis and valuation by developing quantitative models
  • Assisting in conducting industry research and analysis
  • Performing due diligence, reviewing and analyzing results of due diligence exercises
  • Supporting marketing activities of senior team members

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

 

  • Strong academic record, ideally in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Financial Analysis, Valuation or Corporate Strategy
  • Previous internship experience in Debt Financing, in a Private Equity, TS or M&A would be a plus
  • High level of technical skills in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Strong modelling and quantitative skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Location: London

Duration: 6 Months to 11 months (preference for 11 months)

Start Date: April/May 2017
