Work environment :

-Export Finance- Telecom Shipping (“EF-T&S”) is a very visible business unit charge of all export financing related to the Space/ Telecom and Shipping/ Cruising sectors on a worldwide basis.-EF-SI closed more than a dozen of transactions in 2014 and generates +40MEUR worth of revenues annually-Usual size of projects are >100 MUSD and can reach 1BUSD for the largest ones.-Directly fronting international telecom or shipping clients, EF-T&S ‘s scope of actions stands from mandate origination to closing of the credit facilities, -EF-T&S pilots the execution on a worldwide basis of these transactions in coordination with the relevant Regions and Desks of the EF global network. -With the involvement of Export Credit Agency (“ECA”) of various countries, EF-SI Intervenes either on an autonomous basis or in the frame of task-forces built with Media- Telecom Finance and Shipping& Offshore Finance teams. -EF-T&SI is composed of 4 front officers+ 1 trainee and is part to a 50+ staff set-up in Paris, 105 staff ww.

As a support to the front officers, the analyst will be involved in:

-the overall life of structured deals from origination to closing ; concretely,-Preparing the commercial pitches (pitch books, proposals, presentation materials),-Financial analysis and cash flow modelling,-Drafting credit applications, letter of interests and structured financial offers-Contributing to the due diligence on ongoing mandates,-Follow up of signed and closed transactions (waivers, annual reviews, etc)-Revenues / portfolio monitoring and optimization-Supporting the Managers in the reporting exercise.

Overview of the objectives :

To learn Export Finance techniques and analytical tools, be exposed to different aspects of the Structured Finance world (with a particular focus on the Telecom/Space/ Shipping/ Cruising sectors) in a multi cultural environment / worldwide basis.

Profile :

- Major European/ French Business and Engineering schools or universities : Business Administration, Finance, Engineering (with specialization in Finance)

- Last year student preferred with ideally a 1st prior banking experience (Structured Finance or Coverage leading to a good understanding of bank’s organization / business lines)

- English and French shall be fluent, any other language or overseas experience is a plus

- Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
